EMRL Ph.D. students made great contributions at the prestigious ITherm Conference 2023.

Ph.D. students Qais Qasaimeh, Sufyan Tahat, and Abdallah Alakayleh made noteworthy contributions representing the Electronics Manufacturing and Reliability Laboratory (EMRL) at the prestigious ITherm Conference 2023, held in Orlando, FL from May 30 to June 02. ITherm is an internationally recognized conference that focuses on thermal, thermomechanical, and emerging technology issues in electronic devices, packages, and systems. The conference, held in conjunction with the 73rd Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC 2023), provided a platform for scientific exploration and featured paper presentations, vendor exhibits, panel discussions, keynote lectures, and networking events.

IPCEF Awards $20,000 in Scholarships to 17 Auburn University Students, with Ten ISE Graduate Students Leading the Way

Ten ISE graduate students, and 17 Auburn University students overall, have been awarded scholarships from the Institute for Printed Circuits Education Foundation (IPCEF). These students are all members of Auburn University’s IPC Student Chapter and the total scholarship amount awarded to Auburn students equaled $20,000!
A total of $25,000 was awarded to IPC Student Members for their accomplishments across various chapters, including Auburn University, Kirkwood Community College, Texas Tech, Triton College, UC Irvine, University of New Orleans, and Valparaiso University.

ISE doctoral student wins student research paper award

Mohamed El Amine (Wally) Belhadi, a doctoral student in the Auburn University Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, was recently recognized by IPC, a global trade association dedicated to the electronics industry, with the Student Research Award for the best paper at the IPC APEX EXPO 2022.
